The following practices are general guidelines that many, if not, most farmers in New Jersey already practice. It is felt that all farmers should be able to adopt these guidelines on 100% of their acreage within a 3-year period.
A. Cauliflower is not an easy garden crop to grow and requires constant moisture, high fertility levels and moderate temperatures. Cauliflower will not grow well where temperatures average above 75 degrees F. or where winter temperatures drop below 25 degrees F.
