The results revealed that the major income of farmers surveyed was from rubber. Most farmers grew vegetables as a source of supplementary income. The favorite vegetables grown were yard long beans, cucumbers , luffa , chinese cabbage, chinese kale , mustard leaves and bitter gourd.
