Most of the followong plants are native to the northeastern United States; those introduced are so indicated. All, including the exotics, are extreemly hardy and free of insect pests that frequently plauge many ornamental plants.

Minnesota Master Gardener State Newsletter February 2004 Hi Master Gardeners, As the days lengthen, we eagerly await working outside again!! Hopefully the worst of our cold days are over. This winter was a typical USDA Zone 3 and 4 for Minnesota. I still trust the 1990 USDA hardiness zone map!!
