Apiaceae or Umbelliferae: The "archtypal" carrot family pollen is tricolporate and peanut-shaped with obvious internal thickenings surrounding a large endopore in the equatorial region, with short straight furrows. Umbelliferae pollen is often stirate, but also may be rugulate or psilate.

Hi Sue: Some common ladybug species are often abundant here on Wild Carrot (aka Queen-Ann's-Lace or _Daucus carota_) Probably feeding on nectar, I can't rule out pollen but whatever the feed may be, the plants attracts them.
