241. Growing Cole Crops.
Broccoli, brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, collards, and kohlrabi are the most commonly grown cole crops. They all belong to the mustard family and have similar cultural requirements. They are all hardy and grow best in cool weather.

My favorite St. Paddys Day tradition is cooking up a pot of corned beef and cabbage. When I was a kid, this was the only way my mother could trick me into eating cabbage. Through the years, I have grown to love cabbage along with many of the other cole crops.
